Our tours start early, so please be ready at your hotel or accommodation in Chiang Mai at the designated pick-up time.

What We Provide ?
Traditional Karen Clothing
When you arrive at the sanctuary, we give you traditional Karen clothing to wear while you spend time with the elephants.
Elephant’s Food & Snack
You’ll participate in preparing food and snacks for the elephants as part of your hands-on experience.
Complimentary Local Meal
All programs offer a traditional Thai meal and snacks throughout the day
Drinking Water
Free refill drinking water is available throughout your visit. We encourage guests to bring a refillable bottle to reduce waste.
Snacks & Teas
We provided snacks, coffee and herbal tea throughout the day.
Towel
A towel will be provided with every program
Transfer
We provide round-trip transfers to and from your accommodation in Chiang Mai, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey.
Insurance
For your peace of mind, we provide accident insurance during your visit.
Tour Guide
An experienced guide fluent in both English and Thai will join you, sharing insights and information throughout your tour.
Tickets
The cost of the tour includes fees for entering special sites like Doi Suthep, Doi Inthanon National Park, bamboo rafting, and the cooking class.
What to Bring ?
Comfortable Clothing
Dress comfortably for outdoor activities. We recommend wearing light, breathable clothing, and comfortable walking shoes or sandals.
Swimwear
Bring a swimsuit if you want to cool off in the water. At Joy Elephant, we provide towels after a good swim.
Sun Protection
The Chiang Mai sun can be strong, so bring sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses to protect yourself from UV rays.
Insect Repellent
To stay comfortable during the jungle walk or hiking portions, insect repellent is recommended.
Water Bottle
We encourage guests to bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day. We provide refills during the tour.
Camera/Phone
Don’t forget your camera or smartphone to capture the unforgettable moments with the elephants and the stunning scenery.
Extra Cash
You may want to bring some cash for souvenirs or small purchases at local markets along the way.

- May to October: Due to unpredictable weather in Chiang Mai, be sure to bring a light rain jacket or umbrella.
