Your day begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel, followed by a visit to a local market to handpick the freshest ingredients for your cooking adventure.
Meet your passionate cooking class teacher, with 10 years of experience, who will lead you to cook authentic Thai dishes. From crispy Spring Rolls to delicious curries, soups, traditional salads, and stir-fried delights, involve yourself in preparing seven mouthwatering dishes, complemented by refreshing Thai Tea and Mango Sticky Rice for dessert.
After the cooking session, journey to the Joy Elephant Sanctuary, where you’ll be greeted warmly and change into traditional Karen clothing. Engage in hands-on activities as you prepare food and snacks for the elephants, learning about their history and behavior while feeding them from a safe distance.
Sip on freshly harvested herbal tea as you observe the elephants in their natural habitat, witnessing their daily rituals and tender moments within the herd.
Refresh with a break at a picturesque waterfall before crafting your own Thai cultural souvenir to cherish.
Conclude your day with a nice local meal, bidding farewell to the elephants before heading back to Chiang Mai, filled with cherished memories and newfound knowledge of Thai culture and wildlife conservation.

- Meet your energetic cooking class teacher with 10 years of experience, who will guide you in preparing an authentic Thai dish.
- Have the opportunity to prepare 7 dishes during the cooking session:
- Spring Rolls for appetizers, accompanied by Butterfly Pea Lime Tea as a beverage.
- Choose from a selection of curry pastes | curries | soups | Thai traditional salads | stir-fried dishes.
- Complete your meal with Mango Sticky Rice for dessert.

- Depart from the cooking class and head to Joy Elephant Sanctuary.

- Upon arrival at the sanctuary, you will be greeted and welcomed
- Change into traditional Karen clothing and receive a briefing about the sanctuary and the Elephants by our knowledgeable tour guides
- Participate in preparing food and snacks for the elephants, a hands-on experience
- Enjoy feeding the elephants while maintaining a safe distance, as you learn about their history and understand their behavior
- Drink freshly harvested herbal tea from the village while observing the elephants in their natural habitat
- Watch the elephants’ daily routine, which might involve observing them as they look for food in the jungle, bathe with the mahouts, or relax in the mud as they bond within the herd (subject to the natural behavior and preferences of the elephants on the day of the visit)
- Take a refreshing break at the Water Fall ( No Elephant Bathing )
- Craft your own Thai cultural handmade souvenir to take back home

- A free transfer service to/from all places of accommodation within a 5 k.m. radius of Chiang Mai’s Old City.
- Transport from locations outside this area will incur a surcharge.
- Customers will travel in a 12-seater, air-conditioned van, switching to a roofed 4×4 truck for the last 10 minutes to reach the sanctuary.
- No prior cooking experience is required. However, the classes are recommended for children above 5 years old
